Brian actively manages the prosecution of extensive international IP portfolios for a number of KPPB’s largest clients. Brian leverages the experience he has gained working at both large and small IP firms where he prosecuted patents, conducted patent searches, supported patent and trademark litigation, and advised clients on trademark issues. Before pursuing a profession in law, Brian had the opportunity to utilize the computer engineering degree that he obtained from the University of Pennsylvania as an engineer with AT&T. Brian’s practice is characterized by a keen ability to rapidly understand new technologies with a focus on digital signal processing, digital rights management, image processing, mobile communications and video encoding. Brian brings a strong analytical ability and adaptability to every aspect of client counseling to pursue effective patent strategies that achieve meaningful outcomes for his clients.
