David’s practice involves developing strategies for the acquisition, licensing and enforcement of intellectual property, with an emphasis on digital communication, digital signal processing, natural language processing, automated speech recognition, image processing, information theory, software engineering/social media, video processing, machine vision and perceptual computing. In addition to executing IP strategies for technology companies, David prosecutes patents on behalf of a number of leading academic institutions and has advised several companies through their IPOs.
