Mark specializes in patent litigation, particularly in the fields of electrical and computer engineering. Mark has represented clients in patent disputes involving technologies such as semiconductor technology, geolocation mapping software, RFID antenna systems, geotagging devices, smartphone technology, anterior cervical medical devices, and mechanical devices. Mark has experience with pre-litigation strategy, discovery motions and disputes, invalidity and non-infringement analysis, and claim construction strategy. Prior to joining the firm, Mark externed for the Honorable Judge Jane Boyle in the Northern District of Texas. Before law school, Mark was a telecommunications software engineer working on VoIP switch technology.
