Marvin Shi

Marvin’s background is in the field of electrical engineering focusing on signal and image processing, as well as systems and controls. Prior to entering the legal profession, Marvin worked as a research intern specializing in image processing for automatic parking systems on electric vehicles. The experience of assisting in the development of cutting-edge technology helps Marvin understand what inventors want when it comes to protecting their rights. During law school, Marvin was an officer of the Intellectual Property Law Society. Additionally, Marvin participated in the 2021 USPTO National Patent Drafting Competition and achieved a top 3 result at the Texas Regional Round.
